Emma Tryon was born on 6 November 1860 at New York. She was the daughter of Stillman Lewis Tryon and Martha Bond. Emma Tryon married Thomas Regis on 31 December 1876 at Bushnell, Montcalm Co, Michigan.^1,2 Emma Tryon died on 19 April 1935 at Jacksonville, Duval Co, Florida, at age 74; The death certificate lists her birthdate as 6 Nov 1860 and her father as John Tryon.³
She and Thomas Regis appeared on the census of 2 April 1930 at Flint, Genesee Co, Michigan; Thomas Regis, 77, was a watchman at an auto factory; He and his parents were born England; Emma, 73, was a homemaker and she and parents were born in England. They also a roomer, Esther Litchard, 16, born Michigan.⁴
