     Florence Ella Wait was born on 17 September 1871.1 She was the daughter of Abraham Wait and Harriet N. Brown. Florence Ella Wait was baptized on 12 November 1871 at Hatley Anglican Church, Hatley, Stanstead Co, Quebec.1 She married Frederick S. Purdy on 15 March 1893 at Port Perry, Ontario Co, Ontario.2 Florence Ella Wait died in 1937 at Lanark Co, Ontario.3 She was buried at Maple Vale Cemetery, Smiths Mills, Lanark Co, Ontario.3
      As of 1893, Florence Ella Wait was also known as Ella Florence Waite.
