Sarah Mitchell was born on 19 February 1698/99 at Deerfield, Franklin Co, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Michael Mitchell and Sarah (?). Sarah Mitchell married James Hough, son of Samuel Hough and Mary Bate, on 9 July 1718 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut. Sarah Mitchell died on 30 December 1736 at age 37.
