Samuel Hough was born on 12 July 1712 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut. He was the son of James Hough and Hannah Clark. Samuel Hough married Mehitabel Royce, daughter of Samuel Royce and Hannah Benedict, on 7 November 1734 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut. Samuel Hough died on 26 August 1776 at age 64.
