     Samuel Hough was born on 9 March 1653 at New London, New London Co, Connecticut. He was the son of William Hough and Sarah Caulkins. Samuel Hough married Susanna Wrotham, daughter of Simon Wrotham, on 25 November 1679 at Farmington, Hartford Co, Connecticut. Samuel Hough married Mary Bate, daughter of James Bate and Ann Withington, on 18 August 1685.1 Samuel Hough died on 14 March 1718 at Wallingford, New Haven Co, Connecticut, at age 65. He was buried on 17 March 1718 at New London, New London Co, Connecticut.
