Richard Baker

Richard Baker, according to the Withington article in the Register [NEHGR, Vol 74, p. 143], came to Boston as first mate of the ship "Bachelor", having left England 18 Aug 1635. He lived in Dorchester after his marriage to Faith Withington. He was quite active in town affairs and was an ancestor of Walter Baker, the chocolate manufacturer of Dorchester.
