     Mary Tallman was born circa 1795 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Humphrey Tallman and Patience Allen. Mary Tallman married John Spoor circa 1815. Mary Tallman married John Scott, son of Thomas Scott and Anna Willoughby, on 15 January 1821 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. Mary Tallman married John Scott, son of Thomas Scott and Anna Willoughby, on 7 May 1821 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Mary was widow of John Spoor of Noyan and John Scott was also of Noyan.2 Mary Tallman died on 4 September 1860 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3 She was buried on 6 September 1860 at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
