     William Tallman was born on 24 March 1851 at Hemmingford, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Dexter Tallman and Hannah Jeandreau. William Tallman married Mary Moore, daughter of John Moore and Martha Gray, circa 1875. William Tallman died on 18 July 1919 at Grafton, Windham Co, Vermont, at age 68; William had cirrhosis of the liver.1
     He appeared on the census of 1880 at Clinton, Clinton Co, New York.2
