Blanche Elvina Tallman

     Blanche Elvina Tallman was born on 15 January 1873 at Essex Co, New York. She was the daughter of Edward Tallman and Clarissa Minerva Wade. Blanche Elvina Tallman married Alfred Marble Bissonette on 4 January 1893 at Colchester, Chittenden Co, Vermont.¹ Blanche Elvina Tallman died on 8 August 1948 at Springfield, Hampden Co, Massachusetts, at age 75; info from Dave Ouimette, letter dated 10 Mar 1992. She was buried at Greenmount Cemetery, Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont.²
     According to Dave Ouimette, her great grandson, Blanche was sent to the Home for Friendless Children in Plattsburg, New York after her mother died in 1880/1. She was later adopted, along with her brother Theodore, by Joseph Lobdell and his wife Nettie Everett of Schuyler Falls, New York.
