Orren Jerome Tallman

     Orren Jerome Tallman was born on 14 October 1877 at Essex Co, New York.^2,1 He was the son of Edward Tallman and Clarissa Minerva Wade. Orren Jerome Tallman married Nellie Mary Perry, daughter of Albert Perry, on 10 November 1898 at Charlotte, Chittenden Co, Vermont. Orren Jerome Tallman and Nellie Mary Perry were divorced circa 1912.³ Orren Jerome Tallman died on 28 September 1930 at Mary Fletcher Hospital, Burlington, Chittenden Co, Vermont, at age 52.⁴ He was buried at Whallon's Bay Cemetery, Essex, Essex Co, New York.⁵
      Orren Jerome Tallman was also known as Orin Clyde Tallman. He appeared on the census of 28 June 1900 at Ferrisburg, Addison Co, Vermont; Orrin Tallman, 22 , [Oct 1877], Nellie, 22, [May 1878], married two years with two children, both living. Herbert E., 1, [May 1899], and Edward A., 1/12 [Apr 1900]. Both sons were born Vermont, parents born NY.⁶ On 12 September 1918, Orren Tallman registered for the draft during WW I in Essex Co, NY. He gave his birthdate as well as that he was a laborer working for Thomas Sherman in Westport, NY. His residence was also Westport. His nearest relative was his sister, Mrs. N. H. Bissonette of 27 Nash Place, Burlington, VT.¹ He appeared on the census of 24 January 1920 at Westport, Essex Co, New York; Enumerated Orrin J. Fallman within Ancestry's records.⁷ He appeared on the census of 6 May 1930 at Adams Road, Westport, Essex Co, New York; Orrin J. Talman was listed as living by himself, aged 56.⁸
