George Nelson Young was born on 12 February 1841 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of James Young and Harriet Derick. He died on 5 August 1853 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 12; Clarenceville Anglican Church. He was buried on 6 August 1853.
