     Charles Salls was born on 5 January 1813 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of William Salls and Catherine Billings. Charles Salls married Harriet Maria Reed on 5 December 1839.1 Charles Salls died on 25 October 1898 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York, at age 85.2 He was buried at Burke Cemetery, Burke, Franklin Co, New York.3
