Young married Sidney Young, son of Abraham Young and Octavia Letourneau, on 7 September 1870 at Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, Vermont.¹ Samantha A. Young died on 28 September 1885 at Shaftsbury, Bennington Co, Vermont, at age 33; record says she died in childbirth - aged 33y 5m 26d.²
