Isaiah Young

     Isaiah Young was born on 4 October 1856 at Foucault, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec. He was the son of Jacob Young and Lucy Reynolds. Isaiah Young was baptized on 2 October 1857 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ He married Minerva Gertrude Bump on 22 December 1887. Isaiah Young died on 26 March 1952 at Bennington, Bennington Co, Vermont, at age 95. He was buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Arlington, Bennington Co, Vermont.
     He appeared on the census of 1900 at Arlington, Bennington Co, Vermont; "Isaaiah Youngs", 43, Gertrude, 35, Fred I., 9, Horace M., 4, Henry C., 8/12, and Hawley J. Bump, nephew, 18. Isaiah and Gertrude had been married 12 years and had four children.²
