Anna Willoughby was born before 1768. She married Thomas Scott, son of Walter Scott and Mary (?), circa 1787 at probably Quebec. Anna Willoughby died on 17 March 1838 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was buried on 19 March 1838 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1
The History of Cherokee County, Iowa has a brief article on Samuel Scott while he lived there. It mentions he was the son of Prudence Covey and William Scott, and that William was son of Thomas Scott and "Nancy Willoughby, a sister of Calvin Willoughby, a prominent Revolutionary officer."2
