     Samuel Derick was born on 18 April 1769.1,2 He was the son of Karl Theobald Derick and Margreth Burns. Samuel Derick married Hannah Derick on 21 November 1821; gravestone. Samuel Derick married Abigail Clark at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.3 Samuel Derick died on 4 January 1852 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York, at age 82.4,2 He was buried at Derrick Cemetery, Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.2
