Edith Tallman

     Edith Tallman was born on 27 December 1869 at Hale, Trempealeau Co, Wisconsin.¹ She was the daughter of Humphrey Gilbert Tallman and Esther Barnes Boyd. Edith Tallman died on 24 April 1903 at Hale, Trempealeau Co, Wisconsin, at age 33; WI Leader, Merrilan, WI- 1 May 1903: "Died: April 24, 1903 of a cancer, Edith only daughter of H.G. Tallman and wife. Aged 33 years. Funeral at York school Sunday afternoon. Rev. McManus officiating." - Aaron Hulet and family visited here attended the funeral of Edith Tallman Sunday.¹ She was buried on 26 April 1903; Lower Pigeon Creek Cemetery.
     The 1900 Soundex for Wisconsin located an Edith M. Tallman, aged 30 as an inmate at the County Insane Asylum in Lincoln, Trempealeau County. The record did not give any birth date. This may or may not be the same Edith Tallman.
