Stephen [Etienne] Scott was born circa 1799 at Henryville, Iberville Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of James Scott and Anna Willet. Stephen [Etienne] Scott married Appoline Senecal on 30 October 1826 at St Stephen's Anglican Church, Chambly, Chambly Co, Quebec.2 Stephen [Etienne] Scott died on 26 August 1880 at St Luc, Ste-Jean Co, Quebec; His burial record shows he was 70 years old.3 He was buried on 28 August 1880 at St Luc, St Jean Co, Quebec; Present at his burial were Albert Scott and David Scott.3
He appeared on the census of 1851 at St Luc, Quebec; Stephen Scott, 51, Ch of England, wife Pauline Senecal, 45, b. Laprairie, Catholic, dau Pauline, 25, also Catholic; Stephen, 23, Church of England; Caroline, 21, Rose, 19, Lucia, 18, William, 16, Norbert, 14, David, 12, Eliza, 7 and Anna, 2, all Catholic.1
