Margaret Taylor

F, b. circa 1761, d. 19 November 1798
Margaret Taylor was born circa 1761; The Rev War application for the heirs of Solomon Curtis mentions that his wife, Hannah Taylor, was sister to the mother of George Field Salls, Margaret Taylor.1 She married Jacob Salls, son of Isaac Salls and Hannah Hawley, circa 1779 at Canaan, Columbia Co, New York; Margaret Taylor was a sister to Hannah Taylor, who married Solomon Curtis about 1783. They were also in the Canaan area and came to Clarenceville. In 1779, the Salls were still of Canaan so it is likely the marriage occurred there or the Stockbridge, MA area.2 Margaret Taylor died on 19 November 1798. She was buried at St George's Anglican Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
