Amasa Curtis was born on 15 November 1767 at Falls Village, Litchfield Co, Connecticut. He was the son of John Curtis and Deborah (?). Amasa Curtis married Hannah (?). Amasa Curtis married Sarah Lamb on 19 October 1833 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont; Alburgh Vital Records. Amasa Curtis died on 8 May 1837 at age 69. He was buried on 9 May 1837.
