     Milton Scott was born on 18 April 1819 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of Thomas Scott Jr and Mary Bullis. Milton Scott was baptized on 17 August 1834 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Belinda Wheeler, daughter of Joseph Wheeler and Hannah Brown, on 22 January 1844 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.2 Milton Scott died before 1860; Milton must have passed away before 1860 since his wife, Belinda, was then living with her son on Omaha.3
     He appeared on the census of 1851 at Clarenceville, Rouville Co, Quebec; Milton Scott, 33, b. Canada, farmer, Episcopalian, Belinda, 43, and her children: Lucy Spoor, 16, Allen Spoor, 12, Jane Spoor, 10 and their daughter, Alzina Scott, 6.4
