Cyrus Wait was born on 2 August 1790. He was the son of Gardner Wait and Lucretia Fillmore. Cyrus Wait married Laura McWethy on 16 November 1814 at St Albans, Franklin Co, Vermont. Cyrus Wait died on 15 August 1871 at Indiana at age 81.
