Ezra Wait was born on 26 September 1794. He was the son of Gardner Wait and Lucretia Fillmore. Ezra Wait was baptized on 11 June 1820 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Caldwell's Manor & Christie's Manor Anglican Church. He married Hannah Kimmel in 1816. Ezra Wait died on 15 June 1882 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 87.¹ He was buried on 17 June 1882 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹
