William Scott married Prudence Covey, daughter of Samuel Covey Jr. and Permelia Burr, on 15 August 1816 at St George's Anglican Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² William Scott died on 6 December 1883 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 90.^3,4 He was buried on 8 December 1883 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.^5,4
