Esther Solomon was born circa 1766. She married Moses Holt, son of Samuel Holt and Abigail Hough, on 30 January 1790 at Quebec; Their marriage was listed among Titles and Papers in Moses Holt's Inventory of Effects in 1800. It stated a contract of marriage was bearing this date and passed before Charles Stewart, notary.¹ Esther Solomon married Joseph Powell on 29 June 1800 at Sorel, Richelieu Co, Quebec. Esther Solomon died on 11 April 1855 at Hatley, Stanstead Co, Quebec; info from Anne W. Boyd, letter dated 21 May 1994.
