     Joseph Tallman was born on 5 December 1885 at Clinton Co, New York.1,2,3 He was the son of Cyrile Tallman and Martha Matilda Perras-Hebert. Joseph Tallman married Laura Marshall on 14 January 1914.1,3 Joseph Tallman died on 30 July 1962 at Barre, Worcester Co, Massachusetts, at age 76.3
     He appeared on the census of January 1920 at Barre, Worcester Co, Massachusetts; Joseph was aged 34, wife Laura was 27 and they had two sons, James W. and Arthur R. "Tolman".1 As of January 1920, Joseph Tallman was also known as Joseph Tolman.1
