Reuben Hawley
M, b. 5 November 1745, d. 3 March 1810
Reuben Hawley was born on 5 November 1745 at Woodbury, Litchfield Co, Connecticut.1,2 He married Rachel Hurd, daughter of John Hurd. Reuben Hawley died on 3 March 1810 at Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 64.3 He was buried at 3rd Concession Cemetery, Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
Herb Derick, in 1989, had sent info that the Hawleys had come to Caldwell's Manor from Sorel in 1789, when Reuben received a permit to settle on Lot #11 on the Third Concession. Josephus and Elizabeth Vaughan bought the lot adjoining theirs, which was very close to the The Third Concession Cememtery.4
