Henry Castle was born in 1613 at Stratford, England. He married Abigail Dickerson, daughter of Thomas Dickerson and Mary (?), before 1667 at Connecticut. Henry Castle died on 2 February 1698 at Woodbury, Litchfield Co, Connecticut.
Many say he came to America aboard the ship 'Transport' 4th. July 1635, as a Henry Castle, age 22 is listed on this ship. Henry Castle received a land grant in Fairfield on 25 December 1678. His third wife was Mary, the widow of Thomas Dickerson. We can assume that she was his step-daughter and the daughter of Thomas Dickerson.1
