     William Henry Holt was born on 21 September 1788. He was the son of William Johnson Holt and Ruah Stevens. William Henry Holt was baptized in November 1788 at Sorel, Richelieu Co, Quebec; The record says he was baptised November last but "omitted in the register by mistake". This was found in 1789.1 He married Elizabeth Moore on 4 January 1809 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 William Henry Holt died on 19 August 1821 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 32; "of a dropsy."3 He was buried on 21 August 1821 at St Armand Protestant Cemetery, St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
