     Anna Thompson was born on 28 August 1802 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Thompson and Catherine Derick. Anna Thompson was baptized on 10 October 1802 at Brunswick, Rensselaer Co, New York; Gilead Lutheran Church. She married Matthias Askins before 1828.1 Anna Thompson died on 30 March 1891 at Troy, Rensselaer Co, New York, at age 88.1
