John Stevens Holt was born on 12 March 1814 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of William Henry Holt and Elizabeth Moore. John Stevens Holt was baptized on 5 February 1815 at St Armand West, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He married Eliza Van Valkenburgh on 20 May 1840. John Stevens Holt died on 25 January 1859 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 44.2 He was buried on 29 January 1859 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2
