Della Rose Clark

     Della Rose Clark was born on 2 September 1893 at Ellenburg, Clinton Co, New York.¹ She married Harland Covey, son of William Covey and Susan G. Covey, on 19 May 1909 at Ellenburg, Clinton Co, New York; Harland Covey, age 23, farmer of Ellenburgh, NY married Della R. Clark. age 16, of Altona, NY [Episcopal Church Records].² Della Rose Clark died on 4 January 1948 at Bradford, Orange Co, Vermont, at age 54; Della was injured in a car accident on December 31st and died at her home in Bradford. "She suffered broken ribs, bruises and shock from the accident but became worse and she developed pneumonia."¹ She was buried on 7 January 1949 at Sheldon Hill Cemetery, Clinton Co, New York; The body was placed in a vault for later burial due to weather conditions.¹
