Mary Friot

Mary Friot married Philo Hurlbut, son of Daniel Hurlbut, before 1795. Mary Friot married Ira Johnson after 1799. Mary Friot died on 20 December 1804 at Caldwell's Manor, Quebec; There was a Petition to appoint a tutor for Abraham Johnson, made by Ira Johnson on 26 Dec 1804 at Montreal. It mentions that Ira's wife Mary Friot, had died on the 20th, leaving Abraham, the one year old. Ira would continue as tutor, with William S. Moore as sub-tutor.
