Amy Babcock was born circa 1808 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. She was the daughter of Ichabod Babcock and Sarah Pike. Amy Babcock married Samuel Gibbs, son of Jeremiah Gibbs and Deborah Covey, on 10 January 1825 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont. Amy Babcock died on 8 April 1862 at Bangor, Franklin Co, New York. She was buried at Wylie Cemetery, Bangor, Franklin Co, New York.
