Almira Jane Derick was born on 30 August 1840 at Foucault, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec. She was the daughter of Abram Derick and Lydia Flagg. Almira Jane Derick was baptized on 13 May 1841 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ She married Leonard Bush on 31 December 1862. Almira Jane Derick married Seymour Edwin Salls, son of Filer Salls and Nancy Bush, on 16 October 1879 at Clarenceville Methodist Church, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.² Almira Jane Derick died on 29 November 1921 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 81.
