     Ransom Derick was born on 24 February 1850 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 He was the son of Philip Hank Derick and Laura Derick. Ransom Derick was baptized on 19 September 1852 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 He married Mary Maria Lodge before 1881.3 Ransom Derick died on 13 June 1934 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 84.3 He was buried on 15 June 1934 at Union Cemetery, Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.3
