Henry Derick was born on 23 October 1817 at Lacolle, Iberville Co, Quebec. He was the son of John William Derick and Sarah Lea. Henry Derick died on 14 January 1882 at age 64. He was buried at Maple Hill Cemetery, Rouse's Point, Clinton Co, New York.
