     Lany Miranda Young was born on 28 April 1838 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of John Young Jr. and Emerline Patterson. Lany Miranda Young was baptized on 10 August 1838 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.2 She married Robert Scott, son of John Scott and Mary Tallman, on 8 August 1853 at Alburgh, Grand Isle Co, Vermont.3 Lany Miranda Young died on 4 July 1874 at age 36.4 She was buried at North Burke Cemetery, N. Burke, Franklin Co, New York.5
