     Elizabeth Louise Tryon was born in May 1852 at New York.1,2 She was the daughter of James William Tryon and Eliza Deveno. Elizabeth Louise Tryon died on 19 August 1871 at Lowell, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts, at age 19; Lizzie Tryon was aged 20 and had died of small pox. There were many entries that month at Lowell of people who had succombed to that particular disease.3,2
      Elizabeth Louise Tryon was also known as Louise E. Tryon.2
