Ida Marie Covey was born on 28 August 1869 at Cathedrale de St Michel de Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke, Sherbrooke Co, Quebec. She was the daughter of Gilbert Henry Covey and Mary Amanda Smith. Ida Marie Covey married Charles E. Langmand on 24 September 1886 at Brighton, Essex Co, Vermont; Ida was 24, and a resident of Brighton.1
The records of St Michel de Sherbrooke show a Odile Marie Covey born 28 Aug 1869. This must be the same person as shown in the 1871 census as Ida M. Covey.
