Freeman Scott was born on 26 April 1820 at Farnham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec. He was the son of John Scott and Mary Buck. Freeman Scott was baptized on 3 March 1844 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; St Armand Methodist Church. He married Nancy Welch, daughter of Archelaus Welch and Martha ? (?), on 8 January 1842 at Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.¹ Freeman Scott died on 26 November 1887 at prob Stanbridge, Missisquoi Co, Quebec, at age 67. He was buried at Stanbury Cemetery, Stanbridge East, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.
