According to Carol Blakslee (e-mail dated 14 March 1999), George Heroux went by the name of Wheeler (after Louise's second husband) when he played baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies 1896-1899.1 George Wheeler was 27 years old when he broke into the big leagues on September 18, 1896, with the Philadelphia Phillies.2
