Dunham Anglican Church, Dunham, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; This date and info was also found in her Declaration in 1845 before Leon LaLanne, notary. "Firstly, that in the month of April which was in the year one thousand and eight hundred and twenty, she was united to the said late Seymour Salls in the holy bonds of matrimony by the Rev. Charles C. Cotton, Rector of the Parish of All Saints in the county of Missiskoui...that at the day of their union, her said late husband was possessed of but a few articles of personal property, that she lived with her said late husband until the month of June...one thousand eight hundred and forty one, when he thought proper to leave the Province and pass into the UpperProvince aforesaid where he died as above stated in the month of December..."
1,2 J. Seymour Salls died in December 1841 at
Cayuga, York Co, Ontario; According to the Declaration made by his widow, he was destitute of property, when he went to Upper Canada. Neighbors were aware of his condition in life.
