     Phoebe Salls was born circa 1780 at Canaan, Columbia Co, New York. She was the daughter of Jacob Salls and Margaret Taylor. Phoebe Salls was baptized on 3 August 1783 at New Lebanon, Columbia Co, New York.1 She married Ebenezer Kelton in 1800 at St Gabriel's Presbyterian, Montreal, Montreal Co, Quebec. Phoebe Salls married Gamaliel Little after 1813.2 Phoebe Salls died on 20 July 1864; aged "82."
     She appeared on the census of 1851 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec; Phebe Little, widow, was living with her daughter Delinda Kelton Kemp and her family.3
