     John Atkinson was born on 10 October 1852 at Russelltown, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.2 He was the son of Thomas Atkinson.1 John Atkinson was baptized on 31 October 1852 at Franklin Methodist Church, Franklin Centre, Huntingdon Co, Quebec.3 He married Hester Ann Percy, daughter of John Percy and Priscilla Tryon, on 14 June 1874 at Methodist, Burke, Franklin Co, New York; Hester's age was given as 21, and John was 22.4 John Atkinson died on 21 November 1932 at Morrison Co, Minnesota, at age 80.5 He was buried at Birchwood Cemetery, Pine City, Pine Co, Minnesota.6
