     Gilbert Henry Covey was born on 20 April 1891 at Methuen, Essex Co, Massachusetts.1,2 He was the son of John William Covey and Delia Beland. Gilbert Henry Covey married Monica Sullivan. Gilbert Henry Covey died on 30 September 1964 at Lawrence, Essex Co, Massachusetts, at age 73; death certificate #26-36. He was buried on 1 October 1964 at St Patrick's Cemetery, Lowell, Middlesex Co, Massachusetts.
     On 5 June 1917, Gilbert Covey registered for the draft. He was married with three children at the time, living in Lawrence, working as a shipping clerk at Arlington Mills.2 He appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 at Lawrence, Essex Co, Massachusetts.3
