     Jerusha Jane Phelps was born on 10 March 1833 at Foucault, (now Missisquoi Co), Quebec. She was the daughter of Samuel Nash Phelps and Priscilla Tryon. Jerusha Jane Phelps was baptized on 6 August 1833 at St Armand, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married Darius Marble on 10 January 1854 at Norfolk, St Lawrence Co, New York.2 Jerusha Jane Phelps died on 14 July 1882 at Cheshire, Allegan Co, Michigan, at age 49.3 She was buried at Lindsley Cemetery, Cheshire, Allegan Co, Michigan.4
     She appeared on the census of 11 June 1860 at Hampshire, Kane Co, Illinois.5 Jerusha Jane Phelps was also known as Jane J. Marble.4
