     Sarah Young was born on 8 January 1829 at Noyan, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She was the daughter of Johannes Young and Lydia Ann Covey. Sarah Young was baptized on 5 April 1832 at Clarenceville, Missisquoi Co, Quebec.1 She married John Scott Jr., son of John Scott and Mary Tallman, circa 1845. Sarah Young died on 2 October 1894 at Franklin Co, New York, at age 65.2 She was buried at North Burke Cemetery, N. Burke, Franklin Co, New York.3
     She and John Scott Jr. appeared on the census of 4 June 1880 at Burke, Franklin Co, New York.4
