     William Towner was born circa 1756 at New Fairfield, Fairfield Co, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Zacheus Towner and Sarah Vaughan. William Towner married Elizabeth Ramsdell.2 William Towner died on 12 January 1813 at Pownal, Bennington Co, Vermont.1
