     Erasmus Towner was born in 1766 at New Fairfield, Fairfield Co, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Zacheus Towner and Sarah Vaughan. Erasmus Towner married Zipporah McNeil at Charlotte, Chittenden Co, Vermont.1 Erasmus Towner died on 22 January 1813 at Charlotte, Chittenden Co, Vermont.1
